Rage Against The Machine campaigner 'wasn't fussed' with number one
Tracy Morter, , has discussed how donations to Shelter far outweighed the aim of toppling Joe McElderry for the Christmas Number One spot.
Tracy Morter, one of the Rage Against the Machine campaigners, has excluxively told Xfm that the donations to Shelter, which were a key part of the Rage Against The Machine Christmas Number One campaign, almost outweighed the aim of reaching the festive top spot.
“Once the campaign got going and we saw people donating, we weren’t really fussed about the number one”, said Tracy.

“Suddenly, this was really helping people and we were still getting the message out there that we were bored by the chart”.
