Radioactive Man (live) in February
The fantastic Static returns to The Shelter, Dublin, for the first Saturday of every month with some great names in the pipeline, beginning February 7 with Radioactive Man (RGC) live.
Consistently bringing the best names in electronic music to Dublin, U: Mack's Static makes a welcome return for the new year kicking off with Keith Tenniswood, aka Radioactive Man, playing live. Tenniswood is half of maestro- electro outfit Two Lone Swordsmen with Andy Weatherall, and both his self- titled and recent Booby Trap solo albums have been huge hits with critics and kids alike.
Also, so you really get your money's worth, two of Dublin's best DJs are the Static residents: Alan O' Boyle (Decal/ Planet Mu), and Toirse (Front End Synthetics/ U: Mack), and both will be supporting Radioactive Man on the night. Any fans of high- quality electronic and dance music, of any ilk, should not miss this gig.
Static also have some very exciting guests on the way, such as DMX Krew (Rephlex) on March 6, and Plaid (live/ Warp) on April 3…watch this space for further details.
Static, The Shelter, Dublin (first Saturday of each month)- Feb 7: Radioactive Man (live)- tickets 14 euro from Road Records, City Discs and on the door.
