Promises, Promises
These guys haven’t had half the hype of some of their ‘new rock’ contemporaries but they’re twice as talented as most of them.
The phrase “wall of guitars” could have been written for The Cooper Temple Clause. Their trademark six-string assault is instantly memorable – think Metallica but with more melody – and ‘Promises Promises’ is arguably their best moment yet. These guys haven’t had half the hype of some of their ‘new rock’ contemporaries but they’re twice as talented as most of them.
