The musician has announced a once-off special headliner in NYC on March 17.
Wexford singer-songwriter Pierce Turner is billed to play a special St Patrick's Day gig across the pond at Joe's Bar New York.
Tickets will be priced from $30 online and $35 at the door.
Pierce Turner is an award winning Irish musician who is known for his dynamic live performances. One of his many accolades includes being voted in as Ireland’s solo artist of the year in 1994.
He has worked on numerous occasions with Philip Glass, beginning with his debut album It's Only a Long Way Across for which Glass wrote string arrangements and produced.
In 2015, Turner shared one of the world's most famous stages, Carnegie Hall, with Iggy Pop and Patti Smith.
A career which spans four decades, Turner's latest album Terrible Good, was described by Hot Press as 'a gloriously noisy electric sort of thing'. Released in 2022, Terrible Good garnered an impressive 8/10 stars from Hot Press.
Doors open for the St Patrick's Day gig at 5.30pm. It should also be noted that there is a two drink or one food item minimum at Joe's Pub during every show.
