Piano magic
The wonderful Nina Simone returns to Dublin this November for one night only
Hot Press Lifetime Achievement Award-winner Nina Simone returns to Dublin on November 4th for a one-night stand at Vicar St.
A bona fide living legend, the then Eunice Waymon started playing piano in her native North Carolina when she was four and went on to study at the Julliard School of Music in New York.
Having celebrated her graduation with a name change, she started concentrating on jazzier pursuits with 'Ghosts Of Mississippi', 'I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free' and 'My Baby Just Cares For Me' a few of her trademark tunes.
Tickets priced ?75 are on sale now.
