Phantom 105.2 to honor Kurt Cobain
Sinéad Ni Mhórdha will dedicate a special show to the late rocker on the 15 anniversary of his death.
Fifteen years after the Nirvana frontman was found dead, Phantom's Front Row programme will devote an entire show to Kurt Cobain, with special guests on hand to discuss the influence Nirvana have had on modern rock.
New York Times best-selling author and rock journalist Charles R. Cross will join the show to talk about the process of writing a Cobain biography, Heavier than Heaven, which is also set to be made into a film. Cross has appeared in Rolling Stone, Spin and Esquire and was the editor of The Rocket until 2000.
Journalist Tanya Sweeney will also speak about music before and after Nirvana and the influence of grunge on the bands of today.
Additionally, Royseven and Giveamanakick will play live, performing 'All Apologies' and 'About A Girl', respectively.
The Front Row Kurt Cobain special will air this Friday, April 3 from 1-3pm.
