Perfect World

‘Perfect World’ is a clean cut from the brothers Quinn, perfect radio fodder and doubtless a live favourite, a little bland for me though, I confess. More my style is ‘All We’ve Got Is Each Other’ displaying an edgey-anthemic (that word again!) quality and a Lizzy-esque guitar break. ‘Everybody Gets What They Want’ is another belter of a number, a simple acoustic guitar/vocal number that’s perhaps a little preachy, but excellently excuted, nonetheless. A little bit more cohesion in the songwriting department could see Blue Monday do business.
