The former Beatle will line-up alongside Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic at the 121212 Concert For Sandy Relief, to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation Relief Fund. The charity distributes vital funds to victims of the storm that ravaged the Caribbean and the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States during late October this year.
The superstar lineup also includes Bruce Springstein and The E-Street Band, Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Kanye West, Eric Clapton, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin and more. While Leonardo DiCaprio, Jake Gyllenhaal and Kristen Stewart are among celebrities that will tell the stories of those affected by the storm.
The fund has already raised over $30million, and organisers are hoping to surpass the $65million mark with tonights concert.

Starting at 7.30pm ET, (12.30am Irish time) on December 12, the Concert will be broadcast live from Madison Square Garden via a global network of US and International television stations, radio stations and leading web sites.
