Paul Casey song to feature in MTV’s Real World
A song by Derry-born guitarist, singer and songwriter Paul Casey is to be used in an episode of MTV reality show The Real World.
The song chosen for the programme is ‘Blow Away The Clouds’, written and recorded by Casey.
The Real World is the longest-running program in MTV history, and is now in it's 21st season, this time set in Brooklyn. There is intense competition from major music industry players to place recordings on the show, so the use of Casey’s song is a serious coup for the artist who is currently recording his fourth album.
'Blow Away The Clouds' is the title track of Casey’s third album. He’s guested on Chris Rea’s Farewell Tour, and he and Rea jointly composed the song 'Stay'. Casey has also performed on the same bill as artists of the calibre of Van Morrison, the John Butler Trio, Damien Rice and Gemma Hayes.
