Patrick Kelleher releases limited-edition 7"
He's also got two cracking gigs coming up.
Patrick Kelleher & His Cold Dead Hands are to release ‘Contact Sports’ as a limited-edition 7”, which can be pre-ordered from www.skinnywolves.bigcartel.com. The original track is accompanied by an ace remix courtesy of London’s Alalal who's previously worked with the likes of Duran Duran, Maximo Park, The Rakes and Brian Eno.
With only 300 copies up for grabs, we wouldn’t hang around!
On the live front, Mr. Kelleher plays Dublin dates next month in Whelan’s (April 16 + Hunter-Gatherer & Thread Pull) and the Twisted Pepper (17 + Hands Up Who Wants To Die, Cast Of Cheers & The Continuous Battle Of Order).
The Continuous Battle Of Order boys also give their debut album a live airing in The Quad, Cork (16) and Venue TBC, Belfast (24), which being a hometown gig should be royally stuffed. Visit myspace.com/continuousbattle for a stream of ‘01101111 01101110 01100101’ – an instrumental blowout that explains why the Richter Collective have snapped them up.
Incidentally, a teaser clip for rookie director Oran Bambrick’s Cutting A Window: The Richter Collective Story documentary has just appeared on YouTube.
