Featuring Mary Chapin Carpenter in duet mode and written by Colvin’s friend Greg Brown, ‘One Cool Remove’ is easily the outstanding track on Shawn’s Cover Girl album. Anyone who saw these ladies perform it on the Later With Jools Holland, programme will realise what a cool number it is. Harmonised singing that haunts. Deserves to be a hit.
