OMD for Ambassador visit
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark are set to play The Ambassador, Dublin in September.
OMD – or Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark as us not-so New Romantics insist on calling them – visit The Ambassador on September 28 as part of their 30th anniversary tour.
The jaunt coincides with the re-release of the Liverpuldians’ Architecture & Morality and Live albums, which come with a variety of bonus tracks.
Tickets priced €49.20 go on sale on Friday May 23.
There’s more nostalgia to be had on June 28 as Howard Jones plays the Dublin Helix, with support from former Eurovision man Paul Harrington.
His first Irish gig for 15 years, Jones’ performance will be part electronic/part acoustic and liberally sprinkled with such ‘80s monsters as ‘What Is Love’, ‘Pearl In The Shell’ and ‘Like To Get Know You Well.’
