New York City disco legend Jellybean Benitez makes his long awaited Dublin debut
On May 5, 2017 the New York DJ is coming to Dublin’s Index.
Dance music as known today was highly influenced by the New York music scene of the ‘70s and ‘80s. DJs like John “Jellybean” Benitez for sure left their tracks in modern dance music.
The DJ not only played in some of New York’s most iconic venues, such as the Paradise Garage, Funhouse and Studio 54, but also remixed Madonna, Whitney Houston, Mike & The Mechanics and many more.
Now, Benitez comes to Dublin to bring the atmosphere of a classical New York disco to the Index. Doors will open at 11pm.
