Ne-Yo & Akon add extra Dublin date due to high-demand

Ne-Yo and Akon have added an additional Dublin date to their tour, following an increased demand.

The new show will take place at the 3Arena on April 25, following the previously announced April 24 show. The full Nights Like These tour will see the RnB artists playing shows across the UK, Europe and North America.

Ne-Yo is regarded for his contributions to the early-noughties RnB scene, also featuring on 2010s hit singles such as Pitbull's 'Give Me Everything' and 'Time of Our Lives'. Last month, he made his Broadway debut in Hell's Kitchen, a semi-autobiographical musical written and composed by Alicia Keys.

Akon is known for songs such as 'Smack That' featuring Eminem, and 'Lonely', which samples Bobby Vinton's 1964 track 'Mr.Lonely'.

In 2013, Ne-Yo and Akon collaborated on David Guetta's 'Play Hard'. On Tuesday, the duo surprised fans with a performance of the track at the Amazon Music Lot Party in California.

Tickets for their upcoming Dublin shows go on sale this Friday, January 30 at 10am, and are available here.
