Tindersticks have always been the consummate masters of bringing an audience to their knees with little more than a whisper, and if this EP is anything to go by, they are most certainly at the top of their glorious game. Words can barely describe the lucid beauty of this single…arrestingly sweet, sinister, depraved and emancipatory all at once. As Douglas Coupland might have said, it’s like a very, very nice car crash that never ends. Miss their forthcoming Olympia show at your peril.
