My Brightest Diamond head to Ireland
Lush Brooklyn experimentalists My Brightest Diamond jet in for shows.
They'll play at Whelan’s, Dublin (February 6) and Auntie Annie’s, Belfast (7).
They come armed with a new album, A Thousand Shark’s Teeth, that draws heavily on singer Shara Worden’s evangelical upbringing.
Also Whelan’s-bound on February 9 are MBD’s Brooklyn neighbours Ratatat who’ll be peddling their own Classics opus. Signed recently to XL, they sound like the Beastie Boys in their more chilled-out instrumental moments.
