Mumford & Sons surprised fans with a pop-up acoustic set at O’Donoghue’s Pub in Dublin yesterday evening ahead of their sold-out show at Malahide Castle tonight.
The folk-rock trio performed hit classics like 'Little Lion Man' as well as tracks from their most recent record Rushmere, rated seven out of ten by Hot Press.
Tonight's show at Malahide is part of their Europe and North America tour following the release of Rushmere in March.
It's not the first time an artist has performed a pop-up gig at O’Donoghue’s; the cast of Once: The Musical surprised pub-goers in 2017, as did electronic music duo Disclosure earlier this year.
