Ash's Tim Wheeler announces acoustic tour of Ireland

Tim Wheeler has announced that he will be going on his first solo acoustic tour around Ireland.

Wheeler, part of the Co. Down rock band Ash, will be playing five dates from October 7 to October 11.

Though this will be his first solo acoustic tour, the artist has played solo performances in the past in support of his album Lost Domain in 2014.

Ash, who formed in 1992, began as a three-piece with vocalist and guitarist Tim Wheeler, bassist Mark Hamilton and drummer Rick McMurray.

They released their debut full-length album 1977 in 1996, named as an homage to the year Star Wars hit cinemas. Every single from the catchy album made its way into the Top 20 in the UK. The band recently celebrated the album's 30th anniversary with a tour around the UK.

Ash's most recent album Ad Astra was released in October 2025.
