Button Factory announce NewDad for 30th Anniversary Celebration

The Button Factory has announced indie rock band NewDad will play at their 30th Anniversary show, which looks to celebrate three decades of one of Dublin's key music venues.

NewDad previously had two sold-out shows at the venue in 2024, following the release of their debut album Madra. The album was recorded at Rockfield Studios and mixed by the notable Alan Moulder.

They have since played the likes of Glastonbury, Coachella, Primavera Sound and shared the stage with artists like Fontaines D.C.

Electronic audio-visual producer Max Cooper and post-rock band Overheard, The Albatross have already been announced in the line-up for the anniversary show.

The venue is also calling for any previous gig-goers who may have any Button Factory memorabilia which documents the venues physical and digital history.
