Mixmaster Mike & Laurent Garnier lead Paddy's Eve dance charge

Dance fans are in for a treat on March 16 when some of the biggest names in hip hop, techno, electronica and old skool groove descend on the capital for the mother of all Paddy’s Eve blowouts.
Newly announced are the Beastie Boys’ turntablist friend Mixmaster Mike who’s in The Button Factory, and masked Italian duo The Bloody Beetroots who’ll be rockin’ The Academy. If you’ve yet to sample their Justice vs. The Chemical Brothers wall of sound, let us point you in the direction of their ace 2009 debut album, Romborama.
Also in town that night are Andy C + MC Q (Think Tank); Andrew Weatherall (The Twisted Pepper); Derrick Carter (Pod); Laurent Garnier (Tripod); and Blackalicious offshoot Gift Of Gab (Crawdaddy) who have a brilliant track featuring Del The Funky Homosapien streaming on myspace.com/theofficialgiftofgab.
