Mick Jagger and Damian Marley may launch supergroup
Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger, Bob Marley's son Damian and Eurythmics star Dave Stewart may be collaborating in a new supergroup.
British songstress Joss Stone and Indian producer AR Rahman are also believed to be part of the new group called 'Super Heavy', a source told the New York Post.
"They just finished a record and their first video and are talking to major labels about a deal. The name for the band at the moment is Super Heavy", the source said.
Jagger's brother Chris confirmed "he's doing a record at the moment in Los Angeles with Dave Stewart, he called me last night telling me what he was doing."
A spokesperson for Jagger reiterated the group is still in its infancy, "they all thought it would be interesting and great fun to go into the studio and play some music. No video has been shot, no label in place. All a bit premature."
