M.I.A. confirms new album September 9
Titled AIM; 'Go Off' drops Friday
M.I.A. has been desperate to get her album out for awhile now. She's previously expressed her desire to leak it, but now it seems she and her label are on the same page, as an M.I.A. rep has confirmed a September 9 release date for her latest album.
The record, entitled AIM, follows 2013's Matangi. A new Skrillex-produced single, 'Go Off', is expected to drop Friday. She's already shared 'Go Off''s lyrics, AIM's album artwork, and a Sinthujan Varatharajah-authored piece about refugees through her website.
