Medicine Day

Produced in Liverpool by Ian Broudie, the Omagh four piece seem to have found their spiritual home in the city. That they’re supporting labelmates the Coral comes as no surprise, as Medicine Day sounds like the Scousers jamming with Bob Dylan and the Band, with the Stray Cats rhythm section. Quite, quite mad but quite, quite brilliant. If there’s more where this came from, their upcoming Irish dates could well fall into the ‘you had to be there’ category.
