Mas Que Nada
ECHOBEATZ: “Mas Que Nada” (peerpressure)
ECHOBEATZ: “Mas Que Nada” (peerpressure)
The name might not ring any bells, but believe me, you’ve heard it. Remember the soundtrack to that ad, where Ronaldo and chums pass the time of day in the airport with an exhibition of the sublime footballing skills that deserted them in the World Cup final? Well, this is a fruity souped-up dancefloor overhaul.
‘Mas Que Nada’ (translation: ‘Say No More’) is the classic sound of Brazil, originally written by Jorge Ben and made famous by Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66. Here, it’s brought to life by Echobeatz with a ‘Radio Mix’, ‘12” Mix’ and exotic ‘Espiritu Beatz Mix’. Unlikely to cause much of a chart impression now that the Ragged Boyz have been sent packing by the Frog Chorus.
