Mary Stokes Band to headline The Dublin Blues, Roots and Brass Festival this August Bank Holiday Weekend
The free festival returns to Whelan's for its fifth year.
The Dublin Blues, Roots and Brass Festival is back at Whelan's this August Bank Holiday Weekend, August 2-5. Now in its fifth year, the free festival boasts a star-studded line-up, including the Mary Stokes Band (pictured), Crow Black Chicken and the blues guitar legend Mike Brookfield.
Since its formation in 2015, the festival has become a key date on the calendar for all blues, roots and brass enthusiasts, and this year is shaping up to be no different. Across the four days, the festival will host over 20 acts across two stages.
Irish blues extraordinaire Mary Stokes headlines the festival, following a stellar set at The Wild Duck back in April. She and her band have become a staple of the annual Dublin Blues, Roots and Brass Festival, so be prepared for a blistering performance.
