New music from Nick Drake – surely some mistake? In fact, ‘Magic’ is the first single to be culled from Made To Love Magic, an album of rarities, remixes and recently discovered material recorded before his untimely demise in 1974. In typical Drake fashion it’s a wistful, trippy folk song with a gorgeous ‘Eleanor Rigby’-style string arrangement framing his uniquely ethereal vocals.
