The singer has announced a Button Factory gig to launch his latest album This New Morning.
Luka Bloom has announced a special gig in The Button Factory in Dublin, to launch his latest album This New Morning.
The Dublin show is being promoted by Conor Byrne, as part of The Liffey Banks Sessions and takes place on Thursday June 28. Lisa O'Neill has been named as support, with the doors opening at 7.30pm.
Luka is also participating in the Bloomsday celebrations on June 16th, organising "Luka Bloom's Day Ride" – a bicycle tour of the city of Dublin which opens with a breakfast gig at 10am in the Cafe du Journal in Monkstown; a cycle to Dublin city; an in store album launch in Celtic Note at 1pm; and a visit to The Bike Festival in Fade Street at 3pm.

With in the region of 20 albums to his credit, including compilations, Luka Bloom remains among the most celebrated Irish songwriters of his generation, with powerful tracks like 'The City of Chicago', 'You Couldn't Have Come At A Better Time', 'Monsoon', 'Gone To Pablo' and 'Black Is The Colour' to his credit. This New Morning is his first release of new material since 2009's acclaimed Eleven Songs.
