Lil Nas X arrested and hospitalised in Los Angeles

Lil Nas X has been arrested and hospitalised in Los Angeles.

Yesterday, around 6 a.m., the rapper was found walking down Ventura Boulevard in San Fernando Valley wearing only his underwear and cowboy boots, claiming that he was going to a party.

The Grammy winner was booked on suspicion of "misdemeanour battery" for obstructing an officer, after he reportedly charged at officers when confronted.

He was taken to the hospital for a suspected drug overdose before being released and brought to jail.

At the time of writing, no further information about his arrest or hospitalisation has been released.

Lil Nax X rose to fame with his 2019 track 'Old Town Road' which featured Billy Ray Cyrus. The single was number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 19 consecutive weeks.

The 26-year-old also garnered success with he popular "Industry Baby' and "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)' from his 2021 album MONTERO.

The artist's upcoming album Dreamboy is set to release later this year, with a number of singles released in March.
