Lights Out
You want to talk about musical legacies? There can be few with as much to live up to as young Lisa Marie. Fair play to her, though, as she seems to be handling it well so far. The beautiful black and white cover shot is very reminiscent of the old man, but the biggest delight is that she’s opted to make a proper, full-bloodied rock record rather then any pop nonsense. Blessed with a strong voice and an experienced writing partner in Glen Ballard, ‘Lights Out’ is as American as… well… Elvis, but bodes well for the To Whom It May Concern album.
