Lighten The Load

Not a band as such but actually just one bloke from England’s North East.

As is often the temptation with these sort of things, there’s a slight all-but-the-kitchen-sink approach to the production but certainly not enough to smother what is actually quite an

effective song.

With it’s enigmatic vocal, odd lyrics and refusal to bow to any current trends, Lighten The Load may not be the easiest record with which to break a new artist but it would be a real shame if this particular Satellite were not to come round again.
