‘Lessons Learnt From Rocky I To Rocky III’ is another obtuse piece of Tjinder magic, a fusion of the uniquely British (TSB Rock School) and the global, in this case America. Throw in some Bolan boogie guitar, soul diva vocals and Guigsy McGuigan on bass and you have the sort of record that Oasis should be, indeed could be, making if they could get their heads out of their arses long enough.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, “Rocky IV is to be ignored”. Coupled with the surprisingly stirring New York tribute, ‘Returning From The Wreckage’ and an inventive remix from breakbeaters Osymyso, it all adds up to a hugely impressive return to the fray.
