The Mercury music prize nominated 4 Hero return to the fray with a bizarre, string-laden take on the Minnie Ripperton classic, featuring Carina Andersson on vocals. This sounds truly like a song out of time, coming on like a peculiar hybrid of ‘California Dreaming’ and ‘In The The Year 2525’. Perhaps most strangely of all, it works like a charm.
