Lemmy: The Movie gets a special Portlaoise screening on Friday August 14

One of our all-time favourite music docs, Lemmy: The Movie, gets a special fundraising screening on August 14 in Portlaoise's Dunamaise Arts Centre.
The Rock Out For Dunamaise night has been organised by Lemmy's former Hawkwind bandmate and celebrated artist Stacia Blake, model Alina Lescevskaja and a group of local bikers.
Kicking off at 7pm, there will also be a display of motorbikes, many of them customised; tattoo and visual art by Pretty Snazzy Crafts and artisan beer tasting courtesy of the good folk from the 12 Acres Brewery.
Tickets priced €10 are available from the Dunamaise Arts Centre box-office at (057) 8663355. All proceeds go to the multimedia venue, which is one of the best resources of its kind in the country.
