If you like Santana – or maybe Joe Satriani `– you’ll find yourself rocking along to the Celtic Salsa Express’s latest offering, ‘Latina Girl’. Instrumentally, it’s ambitious but singer Dan Toher often seems to be battling against the frequent sax and trumpet solos. In fairness, CSE have a big sound, which doubtless goes down well live. On record, a little more subtlety may be required.
