Sunday saw the finale of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival. Was there a great new soundtrack that caught your fancy during the ten glorious days of the event? If so, speak now or forever hold your peace – for this is the FINAL CALL for votes in the search being conducted by Hot Press and Jameson to decide what is Greatest Movie Soundtrack Ever. The voting closes at 8pm on Tuesday.
From classics like West Side Story and Saturday Night Fever to such new kids on the O.S.T. block as Once and Precious, music has played a pivotal role in making film the dominant art form it is today.
To help jog your memory, we’ve provided a list of 40 classic soundtracks at www.hotpress.com/archive/6188231.html, but feel free to come up with your own suggestion.
