Lana Del Rey previews new music

A short clip posted to Lana Del Rey’s Instagram account shows the singer sitting in a car while the track plays. The clip was later deleted.

She sings: “In your car I’m a star, and I’m burnin’ through you,” before smiling and cutting the clip. The snippet can be listened to below.

During an Instagram live broadcast last week, Del Rey told fans a new single could be dropping shortly: “I think I’m putting a song out January 8th, but I’m not a thousand per cent on it.” The song wil be the latest taste of her new album Norman Fucking Rodwell. She also confirmed during the livestream that the album is “completely finished.”

In October, Del Rey released a snippet of a track called ‘Sylvia Plath’ after releasing ‘Mariners Apartment Complex’ and ‘Venice Bitch’.

After the Instagram live chat, the singer laughed that her: “New Year’s resolution is to live more like an Instagram baddie/YouTube Vlogger in my real life.”
