Lana Del Rey has released ‘White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter’, the third single from her upcoming album Stove.
The release of the single was announced last week on Instagram, and follows the release of her two 2025 singles, ‘Henry come on’ and ‘Bluebird’.
The song was written in collaboration with her husband, Jeremy Dufrene, her sister, Chuck Grant, and her brother-in-law, Jason Pickens, and was produced by herself and Jack Antonoff. An accompanying self-shot music video for the song is scheduled to be released today at 8:00 pm.
Announcing the single last week, she called the song her “favourite”, and “the one she’s been waiting for”.
In announcing the song, she also discussed the release of her 10th studio album Stove. The album was initially announced as Lasso in 2024. The title was then changed to The Right Person Will Stay, and then Stove. The album’s release has been pushed back twice, and is now scheduled to be released later this year.
“I know, you’re asking about the record,” she said in the announcement. “But honestly, soon. ‘Cause vinyl takes three months, so three months plus two weeks. It could be give or take a bit less than that.”
