Kopek announce tour and single details
Irish indie up-and-comers Kopek are set for an autumn/winter tour in support of their second single.
Described as a hybrid of Nirvana and Bloc Party, the three-piece will release their second single 'Morning Light' on October 2.
The single will feature four tracks, including a rare acoustic cut of 'Bring It On' and two electronica remixes of the single itself. It will be a strictly fans-only affair with only 444 copies of the single being pressed. Everyone else can download themselves a copy from iTunes or the band's website (www.kopekmusic.com).
A nationwide tour is also planned in support of the release, with the following dates confirmed:
September 29 - The Sugar Club, Dublin (with Codes)
October 1 - Trinity College, Dublin (with Red Kid)
October 5 - Eddie Murphy's, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny
October 11 - UCD, Dublin (with Royseven)
October 13 - The Stables, Mullingar (with Autofly)
October 19 - Electric Avenue, Waterford (with Australian Pearl Jam)
October 26 - Radio City (with support from Tucan, Codes & Skuzziport)
November 2 - Spirit Store, Dundalk
December 2 - De Barra's, Clonakilty, Co. Cork
December 3 - The Old Oak, Cork
December 7 - Crawdaddy, Dublin (with Tucan)
December 26 - Ashbourne House Hotel, Ashbourne Co. Meath
December 31 - Voodoo Lounge, Dublin
