Josh Johnston confirms Dun Laoghaire gig
Johnston will be making the last stop of his tour in his hometown of Dun Laoghaire at the Pavillion Theatre.
Dub Laoghaire was one of the sources of inspiration behind his latest album Asylum Harbour, with the title referring to the South Dublin ferry port.
In a HP interview, Johnston said, “Dun Laoghaire was built in the first half of the nineteenth century as an 'asylum harbour', a safe refuge for ships unable to make the port of Dublin in a storm. It's also my home, so these two facts link into some of the themes covered on my CD.”
