Jim Carrey's Irish girlfriend found dead

Cathriona White, the Tipperary-born girlfriend of Jim Carrey, has been found dead in Los Angeles.
A make-up artist of considerable standing, she worked on Firefly and The Online Gamer. She and Carrey had began dating three years ago, but broke up a year later. They had since got back together, but American gossip websites are quoting friends as saying the couple had parted ways five days ago.
On that day, Cathriona had posted a troubling message to Twitter.

According to TMZ, law enforcement officials have indicated that a suicide note was found, and early indications suggest that a drug overdose may have been the cause of death.
