Jester scream into charts and grab festival spot
Irish band Jester have seen their single ‘Scream’ crash into the Irish singles charts at number 18 after just one week on release.
As a result, the band have scooped a coveted spot for the forthcoming Cois Fharraige Festival, opening proceedings and getting the audience in the right mood for Jerry Fish on the second day of the event on Saturday September 12.
Taking place in Kilkee, Co Clare from 11-13 September, apart from Jester and Jerry Fish, this year’s Cois Fharraige line-up includes The Zutons, Newton Faulkner, Noah and the Whale, The Hold Steady, Lightning Seeds Unplugged, Stereo MCs and Hallo… I Love You.
