True Detective Season 2 gets its first preview

Season Two of the highly acclaimed drama series True Detective is on the way with an entirely new cast of characters, and today we have our first look at what to expect.

Though the moody trailer is spare on story details, it features bits of footage of the actors comprising the new core cast, including Dublin's own Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn and Taylor Kitsch.

The first season of the crime drama premiered in January 2014 and featured Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as detectives in pursuit of a killer for 17 years. It was a critical darling that earned a boat load of Emmy nominations, taking home the prize for directing for Cary Joji Fukunaga.
