Islands pull Dublin and Belfast shows
The Canadian outfit are unable to travel because of a family bereavement.
Islands have been forced to cancel their Irish and UK tour, which was to have included stop-offs in the Dublin Academy 2 (March 30) and Auntie Annie’s, Belfast (31).
“They’ve had a family bereavement, which has made the tour impossible,” explains a record company spokesperson. “The band plan to make it up at a later stage and play to all their fans.”
On a more positive note, mainman Nicholas Thorburn has made one of the songs from his upcoming solo album, ‘Gone Bananas’, available as a free islandsareforever.com/news download.
