The critically acclaimed recently released Irish film Room has just received three Golden Globe nominations.
The drama movie was nominated for the awards including 'Best Motion Picture Drama', 'Best Screenplay' and 'Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama'.
The 73rd installment of the annual Golden Globes will take place on January 10 and will be hosted by Ricky Gervais.
Speaking on the nominations, Director Lenny Abrahamson commented “"I want to thank the HFPA for this incredible honor. For an independent film like Room to be nominated for Best Picture for the Golden Globes is an extraordinary vote of confidence and a tribute to the amazing work done by all the talented people involved in the production.
