Impressive additions to the Forbidden Fruit Festival
Spank Rock, Bombay Bicycle Club and glut of Irish acts just confirmed!
The June Bank Holiday's Forbidden Fruit Festival continues to look more and more like the essential musical ticket this coming summer with yet more impressive additions to the festival line-up.
Brit indie-boys Bombay Bicycle Club have been confirmed for the Saturday where they'll join The Flaming Lips, Wild Beasts and Yo La Tengo, while deranged party-rap collective Spank Rock will no doubt tear up the Sunday afternoon stage at the grounds of IMMA in Kilmainham. The group will be joined on stage in Dublin by label cohort Amanda Blank.
Furthermore, the Sunday also sees a Richter Collective special four-hander with Cast of Cheers, Bats, Enemies and Squarehead all playing alondside Californian math-rockers Tera Melos. Supporting this, the independent label just announced a sister partnership with the band's LA label Sargent House on their Twitter page this morning.
Tickets for the festival are still on sale from €49.50 per day and €90 for weekend tickets. Let's hope for some sun-splitting good weather eh?
