Hugh Cornwell announces Whelan's show
The Stranglers legend is set to play an acoustic show in Whelan's this coming May
Hugh Cornwell has announced that he will play Whelan's, Dublin this coming May 29 with tickets on sale now.
Cornwell is considered to be one of the UK's most well respected songwriters and performers having spent almost 27 years as chief songwriter, vocalist and guitarist for British New-wave band The Stranglers.
Cornwell is famed for writing tracks such as 'Golden Brown', 'Peaches' and 'Skin Deep' to name a few and he continues to release material of such a high standard with his most recent studio album Totem and Taboo receiving rave reviews
His Whelan's acoustic performance will be a career spanning set featuring tracks from both The Stranglers and his solo career right up to his most recent material.
Tickets for the acoustic show are on sale now priced at €20 including booking fee.
