FOREIGN MORNINGS
Hailing from the ever-fertile indie hotbed that is Bangor, this laurels-phobic bunch spent 2023 touring across the UK, playing festivals and releasing their debut album. Dubbed 4AM, the record was written in a bedroom and recorded in their kitchen, and what a tasty offering it is too. Steeped in ’90s influences and released a few months ago, the LP tells tales of hope, heartbreak, happy birthdays and everything in-between, calling to mind the likes of Social Distortion, Dinosaur Jr and the Pixies. Don’t sleep on Foreign Mornings.
HEAR: ‘Happy Birthday’.
WATCH: They support Pinkslips at Sin É, Dublin (February 22); Sally Long’s, Galway (23); and McHugh’s, Belfast (24).
