Dead Poet Society announce Dublin show
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am
Dead Poet Society have announced that they will be playing The Academy in Dublin as part of their EU & UK headline tour on January 31, 2027.
This comes with the release of two new singles from the band, 'Roach' released June 25 and 'Sinner Systems' last month.
'Roach' is a song that investigates the cost of losing a friend, the video is co-directed by frontman Jack Underkolfer (vocals/guitar).
Listen to 'Roach' below:
'Roach' was produced by Paul Meany (Twenty One Pilots, Pierce The Veil) and mixed by GRAMMY winner Adam Hawkins (Turnstile, Yungblud).
The tour has been highly anticipated by fans after their adventurous 2024 album, FISSION. Underkofler felt after making that album that the band had more creative catharsis to uncover.
"We wanted to carve out our own piece of territory," he says. "I just wanted to swing for the fences with this one. All the things I felt made us, I wanted to see how much deeper I could go with them and try to boil down the essence of the feeling that makes Dead Poet Society who we are.”
'Sinner Systems' was the first single to be released by the band since their 2024 album.
Following their Summer North American tour in 2025, the American band seek to hit the EU & Uk, beginning in January in Portugal and ending in March in Finland.
Tickets go on sale Friday morning at 9am and can be purchased here.
