Hooray For Humans announce album and tour dates
Cork's Hooray For Humans are set to release their debut LP.
Safekeeping will be released in shops and on iTunes on October 26 and will be preceded by the download-only single 'Signature' on October 12.
The band are also set to hit the road in October and November in support of the new record, with the following dates confirmed:
October 5 - Laverys, Belfast
October 13 - Crawdaddy, Dublin
October 26 - TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar
October 27 - Cruiscin Lan, Cork (all ages show)
November 1 - Roisin Dubh, Galway (with Ill Ease)
November 2 - Cyprus Avenue, Cork
November 3 - Tower Records, Dublin (instore appearance)
November 3 - Eamonn Doran's, Dublin
December 8 - Ping Pong @ Liquid Lounge, Cork (with Fist Fite)
Hooray For Humans blend guitar, synths and electronics and were named as ones to watch by Hot Press in late 2006 and selected by the Cork Independent as 'Best New Cork Band'. Early 2007 saw them become the first new band to sign to Limerick independent label Out On A Limb Records in nearly three years.
