Homeland Of The Brave

Yet another of the growing number of World Cup songs pouring forth at a rate of knots, this one is from the Danish-based Irish folkie, Tom Donovan. He can sing a rousing chorus or two but the lyrics are a tad cringe making, eg. “Hey Mr DJ, will you play me the songs of pride for the boys in green.” (And in what must be a first, the radio edit is 12 seconds longer than the original!)
